Rainbow Refugees Stories. Three Portraits from the magazine. (Afghanistan, Kuwait, Pakistan)
Rainbow Refugee's Stories presents the stories of 27 LGBT* refugees persecuted for their sexual orientation or identity in their home countries. Most of them expect to be told whether they can stay in Germany or have to return to where they meet with rejection. Once a month the Rainbow Refugees meet at Sub (Schwules Kommunikations- und Kulturzentrum München e.V.). Their lives are marked by experiences of violence, oppression and disappointment, but also by hope, new encounters and new beginnings.
